The Bergen News is a small non-profit community newspaper. Its mandate is to bring the Bergen community together by fostering community awareness and cohesiveness. In addition, the long-term goal is to promote a sustainable rural way of life by presenting and marketing the community’s arts, crafts, and agricultural products, both in the paper itself, and through a web page. The Bergen News is currently published monthly, but our web page will make the news more current for our readers who have access to the Internet, in addition to offering marketing opportunities for local artists and food producers. Bergen residents may place short ads in the Bergen News free of charge. Subscriptions to the paper are $10 for 12 issues, which almost covers the cost of mailing. We currently have 130 subscribers, with the number growing each month. We encourage you to check out what is in our current issue.
